Cosmetic ingredients are not as expensive as the leading cosmetic manufacturers would like consumers to believe. The FDA does not require cosmetic manufacturers to be licensed.
What it does require is simple: You can’t use pathogenic ingredients or other banned substances.
If you’re using professional formulations, this will not be a problem. So, if you’re looking to start your own cosmetics business or cosmetics label, or you’re interested in private label cosmetics, why not consider starting a business in cosmetic manufacturing? For much less than the cost of a franchise or most other businesses, you can easily get started in cosmetic manufacturing – it’s prestigious, high profit and one of the most enjoyable professions.
